Tristan Swanson drove to victory this past Sunday, earning his second Joe Shear Classic checkered flag in the Midwest Truck Series.

Swanson qualified P9 for round two of the Midwest Truck Series season, contended with Brady Bill and Robbie Rucks, before commanding the race lead. A series of mid-race cautions brought the field back together again, but it was Swanson who brought the field to the finish line first.

“Tristan (Swanson) was incredibly smooth from start to finish. He knows what he wants, gets locked in, dissects what’s happening in traffic so well, and executes,” said Trevor Raskie.

With this win, Swanson earns his fifth Midwest Truck Series checkered flag (9th in all-time wins). Crew Chief, Paul Block, earns his third Madison victory with the team’s trip to victory lane, and it’s the fourth win for Thirty One Motorsports since the end of the 2024 season. It’s a milestone win for Paul Block, earning his tenth (10th) series win in the Midwest Truck Series.

“We can’t thank everyone enough for what they do to give us an opportunity to compete in one of the best series running right now,” said Trevor Raskie. “We work as hard as the hardest workers, and everyone puts in a lot of effort to bring competitive trucks to the race track. We have first-class teammates, our drivers are talented wheelmen, but even better people, and our marketing partners are champions. We’re grateful for everyone who is a part of what we do.”

Thank you to the Midwest Truck Series for delivering another successful show, to everyone at MIS for their effort in putting together a great weekend, and to Bullseye Games for sponsoring the Joe Shear Classic 36. Thank you to Roy Ophime Photography for this great shot of Tristan Swanson at MIS!
