The best chapter of any champion is the one where he or she faces unexpected adversity, navigates it, and flips the script.

This is the story of the current Midwest Truck Series two-time champion, Brandon Reichenberger. Following an 11th place finish at Madison back in early May, Reichenberger returned to Golden Sands Speedway where finished on the podium one year ago.

Following a 10th-place qualifying effort, Brandon (Reichenberger) knew it could be a uphill battle for fifty laps, and it was.

The team made a variety of changes across two days to dial in the #3 Thirty One Motorsports Ford, but when all was said and done, track conditions won the game of circle track poker.

With twenty (laps) to go, the defending series champion pulled off of the the turn-two exit, retiring his #3 for the day, and immediately got back to the drawing board.

“We’re going to go back to the notebook, and we’re going to move forward with what we know has worked for us in the past– back to basics,” said Reichenberger.

The series will make its next stop at Marshfield Motor Speedway on June 13th. Reichenberger qualified 8th, won his QA1 heat race, and finished on the podium (P3) one year ago. His team truck (23) won the Hub City 50 last season, and the team is confident the #3 will flip the script when they get to Marshfield.

For Reichenberger, this is merely a call for a response, a call to action for adversity. For the two-time and defending series champion, this is familiar territory, and an opportunity to rise to the occasion. Tune in as the Midwest Truck Series heads to Marshfield Motors Speedway for fifty laps of door-to-door racing action on Saturday, June 13th.
